Garage Door Insulation
High real estate house prices and expensive renovation cost has now made living space a valuable and scarce commodity. Due to this, many homes have turned their internal garage into an expanded living space, man cave, multipurpose room for hobbies, gym and kids play. The problem is that internal garages become very cold in winter and very hot in summer, and it makes it uncomfortable. We can use heater or coolers to overcome this, however, many KIWIS are now becoming more concerned with the amount of energy we use at our homes, and reducing our contribution to the green house gases. A much better way to control the temperature of your garage is with an insulated garage door. Insulated garage door will not only keep your garage warm in winter and cool in summer, but it also reduces your energy bills.
The insulation panels we use are made from recycled polyester fibre. Recycled products protects the environment by keeping the carbon content locked up in the polyester fibre and reducing landfill waste. They are safe to use as an Interior surface liner - ISO 9705 Fire Test - Group 1S rating. Meets all specs for NZ building codes. It has high Acoustic perform.-up to NRC1.05. R Value 0.7. Independent testing shows these panels give exceptional performance at the low end frequencies (125-500 Hz)
Non-Toxic/ irritant/respirable, Firetest, VOC Emission Safe, odorless, non-corrosive and Vermin Resistant. The insulation panel we use ais not affected by moisture. If, for any reason, it gets wet it will dry out with no adverse effect on its performance or durability.
